Our practice provides comprehensive psychological assessments and therapeutic services. Therapy services are proved for adolescents, adults, and couples with various needs. For more detailed information, please visit our assessments and therapy pages.

The structure of an assessment varies based on the type, but generally includes the following components:

  • Clinical Interview: This typically lasts between 30 and 120 minutes and involves discussing the client's history, concerns, and goals.
  • Testing Session: This usually spans 3 to 8 hours and may be conducted over 1 to 3 days, depending on the complexity of the assessment.
  • Feedback Session: This session, lasting 60 to 90 minutes, is used to review the results and provide recommendations.

Our rates vary depending on the type of assessment and the specific services required. Please contact us for more information. 


Dr. Jarvandi specializes in pediatric assessments, serving individuals from ages 3 through young adulthood. 


Dr. Dihmes specializes in psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. 


Sessions are typically 50 minutes long, but the duration may vary based on your needs and circumstances.


Virginia Psychology is an out-of-network provider. While we do not directly accept insurance, we can provide a superbill upon request for you to submit to your insurance company. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed, as it depends on your insurance provider’s policies. Based on the case, we are able to complete additional forms your insurance company may need. 


 Yes, we offer telehealth services for therapy, in addition to in-person appointments. For assessments, clinical interviews and feedback sessions are conducted via telehealth, while the actual testing is conducted in person.
