Admission Testing

Admission testing refers to the assessments used to evaluate a candidate's qualifications for entry into educational programs, schools, or other specialized institutions. These tests are designed to measure academic skills, cognitive abilities, and sometimes even personal characteristics or aptitudes relevant to the program or institution.

  1.  Consultation and Testing: The psychologist meets with the individual (or their parents) to discuss the test's purpose and gather background information. During this consultation, the specific tests to be administered are selected based on the requirements of the school or program.
  2. Results and Application:
    1. Interpretation: The psychologist analyzes the results, considering the individual's history, background, and any observations made during the test.
    2. Report Writing: A detailed report is prepared, summarizing the test results, along with interpretation.
